  • Healthy use of progress data

What the Scan Looks For

A good physique assessment is not a single vanity score. It compares the visible shape of your frame, shoulder-to-waist ratio, posture, muscle fullness, leanness, and balance across the body.

MuscleMaxx uses front and back photos because physique progress often shows differently across the body. A front photo can show waist definition, while a back photo can reveal lat width and symmetry.

Core Metrics

  • V-Taper: Shoulder and lat width relative to the waist.
  • Leanness: A visual estimate of conditioning and waist definition.
  • Muscle Fullness: Visible size across chest, shoulders, back, arms, and legs.
  • Proportion: How balanced the full physique appears from the front and back.

Use Data as Direction

The point is to identify the highest-leverage next step. For one person, that may be adding back and shoulder volume. For another, it may be improving consistency, sleep, protein intake, or posture.

Consistency is the only "secret"

Meaningful change happens slowly. Tracking your progress ensures you don’t miss the subtle improvements that daily habits compound into over time.
